Hello everyone, recently many orders of LeFu Laminators have been shipped.
According to the customer’s order volume, it was found that the warm and hot laminator occupies the vast majority. Why most customers choose warm and hot laminator?
High Production Efficiency
LeFu Fully Automatic 120C Hot Laminator, such as LF1700-D1 Laminator, has a fast cooling and solidification speed of hot melt glue (usually 5-10 seconds), and the one-time processing time is 30%-50% shorter than cold lamination, suitable for batch production.
Significant Cost Benefits
Cold lamination requires the purchase of pre-coated film, which is 20%-40% higher than ordinary hot lamination film; warm and hot laminating can reuse residual heat, with lower energy consumption, for example, LF700-D1 fully automatic high-temperature laminating machine can laminate more efficiently.
Strong Stability of Finished Products
LeFu Hot Laminating activates the activity of the glue layer through high temperature, and the bonding strength is more than 50% higher than cold laminating, which is not easy to fall off glue in long-term use, especially suitable for outdoor signs and display boards and other scenarios.
Wide Range of Applicable Scenarios
LeFu Warm and Hot Laminator can handle special materials that cold laminating cannot cope with, for example, LF1700-D2 fully automatic laminating machine can laminate car stickers, and supports a variety of processes such as UV curing and matte lamination.
So what is the difference between hot laminator and cold laminator?
Bonding Method
LeFu Cold Laminator: relies on pre-coated cold or double-sided adhesive tape, and the film material and the base material (such as paper, board) are bonded by mechanical pressure without heating. LeFu Warm and Hot Laminator: uses high temperature to melt the inner layer of glue of the film material, and the glue layer and the base material are fully integrated through hot pressing to form a permanent.
Temperature Dependence
LeFu Cold Laminator is sensitive to the ambient temperature, and the curing speed of the glue may slow down in a low temperature environment, affecting efficiency.
Applicable Materials
Cold Laminator is more suitable for thin materials (such as ordinary paper, PVC board) to avoid high temperature; LeFu warm and hot laminator can handle thick materials (such as metal board, high-density board), and can enhance the glossiness of the film material. When low temperature lamination is required, the heating function can be turned off for cold lamination.
If your company is suitable for long-term use, batch production, and high material requirements (such as advertising signs, decorative boards), it is recommended to choose a hot stamp laminating machine first. If your work is small batch customization, low temperature environment operation temporary display products that need to be quickly disassembled.
Whether it is a warm and hot laminator or a cold laminator, it is recommended to choose the laminating machine model according to your own productivity and production needs. LeFu factory produces fully automatic laminating machines, cold and hot laminating machines, high-speed laminator, flatbed applicator and other multi-functional laminating machines, there is always one for you.
