Brushless Motor Technology Revolutionizes Laminator Performance

2025-11-19 12:00:01

One of the two core hardware components of the Lefu Laminator is the motor. The operation of the Lefu Laminator relies on the drive provided by the motor. Based on its application, the Lefu Laminator adopts a brushless DC motor. By eliminating the brushes, the brushless motor removes the sparking generated during operation, significantly reducing interference with radio equipment. Friction is greatly minimized, ensuring smooth operation and a notable reduction in noise. With the brushless design, the motor is virtually maintenance-free, requiring only occasional dust removal when necessary. It can operate continuously for approximately 20,000 hours and has a typical service life of 7-10 years, extending its durability by 3 to 4 times. In terms of energy efficiency, the brushless motor reduces power consumption by two-thirds, effectively lowering operational costs. Currently, it is used in multiple models, including the LF1700-F1 Pro, paired with our ZhiFu control system.

Lefu has independently developed the ZhiFu system: a large multi-column display for more intuitive and convenient operation. The pulse-type speed control knob is precise and durable. With the convenience of dual front and rear speed control knobs and a digital display, the speed adjustment range is finely segmented, allowing for smoother linear acceleration and deceleration. The temperature control of the Lefu Laminator has also been optimized and upgraded, incorporating safety protections and an over-temperature warning function.

The Lefu Laminator can achieve a maximum speed of 50 meters per minute while avoiding wrinkling of the material when the lamination process is paused. When lamination stops, the machine halts immediately, preventing any buffer that could cause material waste. Additionally, it features multiple practical functions, such as automatic paper-stop. This function ensures that when the machine detects a low paper supply, it first slows down and then stops precisely at the point where the lamination is complete. This not only reduces maintenance costs for customers and eliminates unnecessary waste but also ensures efficient and high-quality operation.
